Getting to Anilao

Getting to Anilao is easy and convenient. Here are a few options:

  • By Car: From Manila, take the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and exit at Batangas City. Follow the signs to Bauan, and from there, head to Mabini, Batangas. The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
  • By Bus: Several bus companies operate routes from Manila to Batangas City. Once in Batangas City, take a jeepney or tricycle to Mabini, and then another tricycle to Anilao Port. The total travel time is around 3.5 to 4 hours.
  • By Private Transfer: Many dive resorts and travel agencies offer private transfers from Manila to Anilao. This option is convenient and saves time.
  • By Boat: For an adventurous route, you can take a boat from one of the nearby islands or coastal areas. Check with local operators for schedules and availability.

An Intro Dive, also known as an Introductory Dive or Discover Scuba Diving, is a program designed for individuals who have little or no prior scuba diving experience. This experience provides a basic introduction to scuba diving under the direct supervision of a professional instructor.

Fun Dive refers to a recreational scuba diving activity undertaken for enjoyment rather than training or certification purposes. During a fun dive, divers explore underwater environments, observe marine life, and appreciate the beauty of the underwater world without the structured learning or skill assessments associated with dive courses. Fun dives are typically organized by dive shops or clubs and can take place in various locations, such as coral reefs, shipwrecks, and other dive sites.

The Bubble Maker course is a fun introduction to scuba diving for children. It gives kids the opportunity to swim around underwater and experience the thrill of breathing underwater in a safe and controlled environment.

The Open Water course is your first step into the world of scuba diving. This course covers basic principles and skills needed to dive safely. You'll experience both classroom and in-water sessions to ensure you're prepared for your underwater adventures.

The Advanced Open Water course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This course helps you advance your diving knowledge and skills.

A nitrox course, also known as an Enriched Air Nitrox course, teaches divers how to use and plan dives with gas mixtures containing a higher percentage of oxygen than regular air (21% oxygen, 79% nitrogen). Nitrox dives can extend dive time, reduce surface interval times, and potentially lessen fatigue, according to Sunrise Divers.

The Rescue Diver course with Emergency First Response (EFR) training prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. It enhances your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level.

The Scuba Review course is designed for certified divers who have been out of the water for a while and want to refresh their diving skills and knowledge. This course helps you regain your confidence and comfort in the water.

The PADI ReActivate program is a scuba diving refresher course designed to help divers refresh their knowledge and skills. It's a personalized program that allows you to focus on the areas where you need the most review.
